We are really excited to have The Back Bay Oyster Board available at the festival this year. Here’s the story from Carmen and Peter:
We are a family business whom got inspired in a shucking board Liam’s grandfather had. Having loved this board, his grandfather passed it to his son (Liam’s father), who made just few replicas in Nova Scotia for his sons. Now, Liam saw a great potential in this shucking board, as it seemed no one had something similar. We decided to make some small adjustments, and having it patented, so now people can enjoy this great board, as they will experience an easier way to shuck oysters with more hygiene (As the liquid trap prevents the oyster juice to run everywhere).
The Back Bay Oyster Board will be able to test and purchase at the festival. Board are priced at $24.99plus HST. Now everyone can be a master shucker, with a little help.
