Members of the Purdy line have been growing oysters in Malagash since 1867, although the current Bay Enterprises version of the family business has "only" been around since 1974. With a proven track record of protecting the natural bounty for future generations, the Purdys grow their oysters and quahogs with traditional and modern methods to ensure sound and healthy ecology of their area on Nova Scotia's Northern Shore, while sustainably producing a tasty oyster for you to enjoy.
